The Amazon Discovery was launched at the end of 2015 as an all-suite luxury Amazon River Cruiser, offering boutique River Cruises on the Amazon to a maximum of 43 guests per cruise.
The Amazon Discovery offers spacious and luxurious suites and a level of comfort not normally associated with cruises on the Amazon.
Facilities on board the Amazon Discovery include a large dining room, indoor and outdoor lounges, a gym and a spa.
Constructed from local sustainably grown hardwoods and furnished with handmade textiles from Peru, the Amazon Discovery is a stylish vessel with a real flavour of Peru.
What’s so Special?
This is an intimate boutique Amazon River Cruise vessel and with only 22 Suites there is plenty of space.
Guests have the option of four room classes.
On the first deck there are 8 Fauna Suites complete with floor to ceiling panoramic windows as well as 2 spacious Estuary Suites facing the front of the ship.
The second deck is comprised of 10 Flora Suites and the largest of all, the Amazonia Suite.
The top deck features beautiful indoor and outdoor lounge, a sundeck with plunge pool, a spa and gym, and of course the bar.
Day 1: UK - Lima
Fly UK to Lima. Upon arrival, private transfer to your hotel.
Overnight Lima.
Day 2: Lima - Iquitos
Private transfer to Lima Airport for your scheduled flight to Iquitos.
Upon arrival, city tour and embarkation.
Welcome lunch, orientation, and intro to the Amazon.
