Indonesia March

In March, things are starting to improve in Bali and Lombok with an average of 8 hours sunshine per day. Some rain can be expected in Bali and Lombok and much of Indonesia on 18 days of the month. Temperatures average around 30 degrees.

Sumbawa, Flores and Komodo Island have climates similar to Bali.

In Nusa Tenggara rain can be expected almost everywhere in March although rainfall has started to lessen. In general the islands east of Lombok have a longer drier season than the rest of Indonesia, especially the closer the islands are to Australia.

In most of Java, 6 hours of sunshine daily is average for March with around 300 mm of rainfall.

Afternoon downpours can be expected throughout Sulawesi at this time of year.
