Costa Rica packs an extraordinary range into a small country: Arenal's volcanoes and hot springs, the cloud forests of Monteverde, nesting turtles at Tortuguero and the beaches of Manuel Antonio and the Nicoya Peninsula.
It is also a country with a conscience. Costa Rica abolished its army in 1948 and has invested in its people and landscapes ever since. Today more than a quarter of the country is protected, and its eco-lodges set the standard for sustainable travel.
We have been creating tailor-made Costa Rica holidays for almost 20 years. Most of our journeys combine rainforest and coast – dawn wildlife walks, white-water rafting and turtle watching by moonlight, followed by time to unwind on a Pacific beach.
