An Lam Saigon River Private Residence is located on the outskirts of Saigon, just 25-minutes by hotel speedboat to the centre of District 1 in a rural riverside location.
An Lam Saigon River is a unique and captivating boutique hotel in Saigon, a small resort-style hotel offering a great alternative to standard business style Saigon hotels.
15 guestrooms are set in 7 luxurious riverside villas at An Lam Saigon River, which occupies 6 square kilometres of land in a peaceful location overlooking the Saigon River.
An Lam Saigon River is a great alternative to the sometimes bland accommodation options in the centre of Saigon and this is a great place to wind down a little bit after touring Vietnam.
Style and simplicity are the key words at An Lam Saigon River. Rooms feature natural wood floors, patio doors, large terraces and plenty of light. Some villas overlook the Saigon River and some feature private pools.
An Lam Saigon River has a small swimming pool at its centre and a nice terrace restaurant and bar overlooking the river.
What’s so Special?
An Lam Saigon River is our favourite place to stay in Saigon with a peaceful atmosphere by the Saigon River, luxury accommodation and great food.
The journey to and from An Lam down the Saigon River is interesting in itself, to observe the goings on along the river. Many guests choose to go the Cu Chi Tunnels by boat from An Lam, a great alternative to the road trip.
We love the pool villas. The pools are large enough to swim a couple of strokes and the four-poster beds on the upstairs level add a touch of romance.
Bear in Mind
If popping out to restaurants and shops is essential, An Lam might not be the right choice as there is really nothing much around the hotel.
Some guests have commented about noise from boats passing by along the river. In our opinion, this just adds to the sense of location.

There are 3 An Lam Suites set amongst the tranquil gardens, each uniquely designed and ranging from 50 to 75 square meters in size.
King-sized beds, rich warm wood decor and private sun decks are nice features of these Suites.

Dining
The two restaurants offer intimacy and fine dining al fresco. We love the riverside restaurant, which offers great a la carte dining, river views and refreshing breezes.
Private dining throughout the resort is also offered, including by the pool, in a garden corner or in the lounge area.

What kind of holidays do you do?
All of our holidays are private tailor made holidays, whether its a simple city and beach holiday or a longer tour of Vietnam or Indochina.
Each trip is customised for you - we can amend things to entirely suit you; your budget, your pace, your interests.
You will have your own private car, driver and guide on excursions and we normally include airport transfers by private car.
On excursions you'll have an experienced English speaking guide who will be able to give you personal insights into your destination.

Which Airlines do you use?
We work with all the major airlines flying to this part of the world.
Typically for Vietnam, Vietnam Airlines, Thai Airways, Singapore Airlines, Emirates, Qatar Airways or Cathay Pacific would be airlines we most often use.
However, just let us know your preferred airline if you have one. We can organise flights from any regional destination in the UK.
Vietnam Airlines fly directly to both Hanoi and Saigon from Heathrow.
Which Hotels do you use?
We're careful with our choice of hotels, but we're guided by our customers also. If you have some preferred hotels, just let us know.
We specialise in boutique hotels and so we will often suggest some of our favourite smaller hotels where we think these will be suitable.
We try to choose hotels with character, value and something special about them - which fit your budget.
We keep on top of hotel developments in Indochina from our office in Vietnam and regularly inspect the hotels we use.
Do you cater for Solo Travellers and families?
Yes, we have many solo travellers, and Vietnam is a very safe, friendly and welcoming destinations for those travelling alone.
River cruises on the Mekong are a popular option for solo travellers, especially with Pandaw Cruises who offer no Single Supplements on many departures.
Vietnam has plenty to offer families, whether it's exploring the Cu Chi Tunnels, cycling around Mekong Delta villages, enjoying a Water Puppet Show in Hanoi or sampling exotic Vietnamese food.
What about Honeymoons and Anniversaries?
Vietnam is great for honeymooners - especially those looking for a more active honeymoon or to combine some touring with relaxation.

Touring Vietnam

A stay in Saigon is essential to get a true feel for Vietnam since it's Vietnam's most dynamic, vibrant and most populated city.
A stay of 2 nights is the minumum you should consider for Saigon as there is plenty to see and do and there are a couple of great side trips to consider - namely the Cu Chi Tunnels and the Mekong Delta.
Saigon is often included at the start or the end of a tour of Vietnam or Indochina since many flights arrive and depart from here.
It's also possible to travel overland (or by water) between here and Cambodia.
