Dunia Camp
Dunia Camp is an intimate and 8-tent traditional mobile safari camp in the heart of the Serengeti, ideal for exploring the Central Serengeti and the Southern plains.
This area of the Serengeti has a very high concentration of big cats, and game drives combine migration viewing with searching for lion, leopard, cheetah and rhino.
The secluded setting of Dunia Camp is close to the scenic Moru Kopjes where big cats take advantage of the granite protrusions to gain elevation from which to view their territories.
The area around Moru Kopjes also includes the rhinoceros sanctuary, one of the few places in the Serengeti where you will almost certainly find the endangered black rhino.
The nearby Seronera River is also easily accessible from the camp – this perennial water source sustains large herds of antelope year-round, ensuring excellent frequent sightings of the lion, leopard and cheetah that roam the plains.
All 8 tented-suites are on a slightly elevated setting and offer en-suite accommodation in a traditional and unpretentious style with an emphasis on simple elegance and comfortable charm.
The main area of the camp has a lounge area and separate dining area.

Dunia Camp offers a quieter location in an exclusive valley close to the busier area of the Serengeti and is a great option for those looking to keep costs and travelling times lower.
Standards are high at Dunia Camp and the camp will suit those looking for an authentic old-style safari camp experience. Dunia is one of the best camps in this part of the Serengeti.
Dunia Camp has a strong eco focus and has been certified as carbon-neutral.
Bear in mind
The location of Dunia Camp means that the location is ideal for seeing the migration between December and March, although resident game can be seen year-round.
Dunia Camp is part of the luxury Asilia brand and is an excellent combination with Oliver’s Camp in Tarangire and/or with Olakira Camp in the northern Serengeti.
Children over 6 years of age can be accommodated at Dunia Camp although bear in mind that the camp is unfenced and in an area where game may wander through the camp at any time. All children should be closely supervised at all times.
Most guests drive to Dunia Camp, although Seronera airstrip is 45 minutes away.
There are no TV’s and cell-phone reception is limited.
