Kokomo is an all pool-villa boutique resort on Gili Trawangan, just a short stroll away from the centre of the main beach area.
Kokomo's villas are completely private, with either a private pool or plunge pool and are all smartly furnished, with outdoor living areas.
There are one, two and three bedroom villas to choose from.
Gili Trawangan’s restaurants are just a stroll away from Kokomo and superb snorkelling is available right off the beach by the hotel.
What’s so Special?
We were thrilled to come across Kokomo several years ago – in our opinion the smartest accommodation on Gili Trawangan, just a couple of minutes stroll from the main beach area. The location is quiet but still very close to facilities.
Bear in mind
There are no vehicles on Gili Trawangan. Internet access can be hit and miss.
Kokomo Gili Trawangan is closed until 10 April 2019 as it is undergoing repairs and redevelopment following the earthquake of 2018.
One Bedroom Villas (Hijau, Merah and Emas)
Kokomo’s one bedroom villas feature plunge pools (Merah and Emas) or a Jacuzzi (Hijau).
Villas are private, contemporary and fully tiled with spacious double bedrooms with DVD/CD and Satellite TV’s. En-suite bathrooms feature marble topped vanities and freshwater showers.
The outdoor relaxation terraces have fully stocked mini-bars, tea and coffee making facilities, dining table and chairs, and lounges. Each terrace flows onto wooden decking with sun lounges and either a large plunge pool or personal Jacuzzi.
Dining
Kokomo has a lovely dining area set up on the beach, with a small breakfast and bar area by the reception.
Prices are very reasonable as there is a plethora of dining options a short stroll away.
Facilities
Kokomo doesn't offer much in the way of facilities but the villas are quite self-contained.
Spa treatments are available and the snorkelling off the beach in front of the hotel is fantastic.
