About MGallery La Veranda Resort

MGallery La Veranda Resort Phu Quoc is a French-colonial style luxury boutique resort, facing the sunsets on Phu Quoc Island’s Duong Don Beach.

Phu Quoc is one of Vietnam’s most picturesque islands and the 70-room MGallery La Veranda Phu Quoc is designed to reflect the ambience of a seaside colonial style mansion, set amidst a tropical garden along a beautiful white sandy beach.

Several flights a day connect Saigon with Phu Quoc (a 45-minute flight).

Rooms are lovely – very spacious, with private terraces and interiors, which continue the colonial theme and create a homely ambience.

What's so Special?

The relaxing chug of a fishing boat, the distant sound of a cows bell, the call of circling Sea Eagles – some of the sounds which may lull you to sleep at La Veranda Resort Phu Quoc.

La Veranda Resort Phu Quoc has a real colonial-era ambience, with sepia prints, louvered shutters, whirring ceiling fans, cane armchairs and potted palm plants giving the resort a really tropical French-colonial feel.

Jasmine and frangipani scent the air and bird of paradise plants add their distinctive profile to lush tropical gardens, attracting birds and butterflies in equal measure.

The restaurant almost next door to La Veranda has a huge menu and is great value.

Bear in Mind

Phu Quoc has developed quite a bit in recent years from a very low-key destination to something of a boom island. La Veranda is a place to escape to however - it's not a place for nightlife and endless diversions.

Deluxe Room - Garden View

22 Deluxe Rooms are 38 sq. m. in size and are set amongst lush tropical gardens in two-storey buildings.

Spacious and airy rooms feature traditional colourful cool tiled floors, soft colours, dark woods, ceiling fans, wooden beds draped with mosquito nets and fine bed linen. The effect is to create a homely and elegant colonial style retreat.

All rooms have French windows opening on to a private terrace or balcony, which is a great place to catch the cool ocean breeze.

Premier Deluxe Room - Garden & Ocean Views

9 Premier Deluxe Garden View Rooms are larger than the Deluxe Rooms 46 sq. m. in size and are set amongst lush tropical gardens in two-storey buildings. 9 further Premier Deluxe Rooms offer Ocean Views.

Premier Executive Room - Garden View

3 Premier Executive Garden View Rooms are larger still (55 sq. m) and also located in the same buildings amongst the gardens.

Classic Villas - Garden View

There are 15 spacious Deluxe Villas at 63 sq. m. in size, each with a private terrace overlooking the gardens. The style and décor is similar to the Deluxe Rooms but with extra space.

Classic Villas feature bathtubs in addition to showers. Four-poster beds are draped in mosquito nets.

Villas are located in rows leading down to the beach, but the setting of the villas offers a certain amount of privacy on the villa terraces.

Memorable Premier Ocean View

Just 3 rooms (53 sq. m) offer proximity to the sea and sunset views. These rooms have beautiful red baths.

Junior Suite - Ocean View

3 elegantly furnished Junior Suites are 73 sq. m. in size are located just a few steps from the beach and are furnished with traditional decor and bespoke furnishings including four-poster beds.

La Veranda Ocean View Villas

6 elegantly furnished villas are 71 sq. m. in size are set facing the sea.

Villas feature separate living areas and are furnished with traditional decor and bespoke furnishings including four-poster beds.

Overlooking the beach and the garden, Peppertree offers Vietnamese, Asian and European cuisine that will excite your taste buds! The local pepper fish sauce is very popular.

Beach Grill

In the evening, the Beach Grill is the place for a great bare foot BBQ dinner.

Sunset Lounge

The Sunset Lounge is the spot to retire to after a lazy day on the beach or around the pool. The sunsets are usually quite spectacular.

This is the ‘beach evening spot of Phu Quoc’, a place not to be missed. The terrace café consists of wide terraces and large easy chairs. Service is great and they serve up a half decent cappuccino. The kind of place you want to sit back in the armchair with a good book and enjoy the cooling sea breeze.
