Ngapali Bay Villas & Spa is one of the newer and finest resorts in Ngapali, on a beautiful stretch of beach.

The resort offers a handful of spacious and extremely well designed villas, each with a view of the bay. Villas are set in rows parallel to the beach.

The resort has a great little restaurant and dining terrace by the beach and there are plenty of local places to eat within easy walking distance.

Ngapali Bay Villas offers snorkelling at Pearl Island and hiking or cycling to nearby villages.

What’s so Special?

The resort is largely the work of British architect David Wordsworth and local interior designer U Kyaw Sein.

Local traditions have been incorporated, including thatch roofs, furnishings such as hand-woven curtains and paintings by one of Myanmar’s most famous artists.

Each room has it’s own designated sunbeds so there is no need to worry about finding a sunbed to lounge on.

Bear in mind

Thandwe is about 30 minutes away and there are no ATM’s in the immediate area. Bring enough cash to the resort.

Deluxe Sea View Villas

There are 16 Deluxe Sea View Villas (53 sq. m), set third in line back from the beach

All villas offer a view of the ocean through the floor to ceiling windows.

Furnishings include fine cotton bed linen covering mosquito-net draped beds.

White marble and teak wood create a cool tropical ambience.

Suite Villa with Pavilion

The 4 suites (107 sq. m) are directly on the beach and have their own pavilion and reclining chairs.

Bathrooms feature over-sized teak handmade bathtubs with beach views and an outdoor shower.

Teak floors and antique cabinets help to create a luxurious tropical feel to these Suites.

Deluxe Sea View Villas with Plunge Pools

There are 8 Deluxe Sea View Villas with Plunge Pools (53 sq. m).

These villas are the second row of villas from the beach, each with its own private deck and plunge pool.

Dining

Ngapali Bay Villas has a restaurant and a wide open-air terrace on the oceanfront, set with stylish teak table and chairs.

A wide variety of dishes are offered including excellent freshly caught local seafood.

The elegant ocean front dining is a great spot to enjoy the view and the sound of the sea. Enjoy the traditional Rakhine style 5-minute chicken barbecue on the sand at twilight.
