Topas Eco Lodge enjoys a perfect location – situated atop two cone formed hills, set deep in the spectacular Sapa valley of northern Vietnam.

The location is superb and a real highlight of a stay here. We love the terraces which offer stunning views of the surrounding mountains.

The lodge accommodation consists of free-standing bungalows overlooking Thanh Kim village to the north and the Hoang Lien mountain range as a beautiful background.

All bungalows are air-conditioned with private balconies and are built as rustic chalet-style single bedroom houses, constructed from local white granite.

Accommodation is comfortable and comes in two categories.

What's so Special?

Topas Ecolodge is based on sustainable principles to ensure that the lodge has a minimum impact on the surrounding environment.

Local people are employed and local products and goods utilised in order to bring economic benefits to the local community.

The Lodge is part of the National Geographics Collection.

Bear in Mind

Topas Ecolodge is situated 18 km outside Sapa town about 45 minutes from town on a fairly rough road.

Rooms have no TV's and there is no swimming pool. Sometimes the electricity can fail and there can be water supply issues during the rice planting season.

Topas Ecolodge consists of 33 stylish chalet-style stone bungalows built using local white granite from the Hoang Lien Mountains.

Meanwhile, the split-level suites offer an extra level of comfort.

Premium Executive Bungalows

The 29 premium executive bungalows are 29 sq. m in size.

The bungalows overlook Ban Ho valley, Thanh Kim village and Mt. Silverstone in the Hoang Lien mountain range.

The modern Nordic-style interiors are rustic and simple yet comfortable and each come with a private balcony.

The premium executive bungalows are of equal size and built as rustic chalet-style single bedroom houses from local white granite. All are equipped with air conditioning and a minibar.

For family or group bookings, it is possible to connect one premium executive bungalow with a suite bungalow and share the private connecting terrace.

The maximum occupancy in these bungalows is three adults, or two adults and two children under 12 years old.

Suite Bungalows

Built as two story chalet-style houses (56 sq. m), the entrance is through the second floor which comprises a beautiful and modern living room, private balcony and a spacious bathroom area including a natural stone bath, shower and toilet.

The ground floor features a private layout with bedroom, connecting toilet and private terrace.

The interior design is Nordic-inspired while remaining in keeping with traditional Vietnamese style.

All suite bungalows are equipped with air conditioning and a minibar.

For families, it is possible to choose one suite bungalow and a premium executive bungalow and share the connecting private terrace.

All Suite Bungalows include a private balcony, living room, bedroom and two bathrooms.
