The trip starts in Quito, where you will explore the colonial old town of Quito and visit the Equatorial line on the outskirts of town.

From here head off on a 3-day Amazon adventure with breath-taking scenery and a variety of outdoor activities.

Continue to Baños and discover hot springs and beautiful waterfalls and take the Nariz del Diablo Train Ride from Riobamba to Alausi.

Head south to Cuenca considered to be the most beautiful city in Ecuador and the cultural capital of the country.

You journey finishes on the Pacific Coast, in Guayaquil where you can go for a stroll at the río Guayas’ malecón (the city’s riverfront town square).

Day 1: Fly UK to Quito 

Fly from the UK to Quito.

On arrival you will be met by your guide and transferred to your hotel.

Day 2: Quito Colonial Old Town & the Equatorial Line 

After breakfast visit Quito Colonial Town and the Equatorial Line.

Situated in a circle of Andean peaks, Quito is the world’s second highest capital.

The colonial centre - declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1978 - is one of the largest and best preserved in Latin America.

The tour starts at the quirky Guapulo quarter and finishes at the “Panecillo” hillside with its breathtaking views of the old and modern city surrounded by the rolling Andes Mountains. 

As an addition to the Quito Colonial City Tour, visit the “Equatorial line” complex.

This monument is located right on the Equator and provides a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to straddle both hemispheres!

Day 3:  Amazon Adventure 

After breakfast you will be met by your guide who will take you to Hakuna Matata Hacienda, in Napo Province for a 2 night stay.

This private hacienda is the perfect place to enjoy many activities in the surrounding area.

On arrival enjoy lunch in the famous Pangaea Restaurant.

In the afternoon enjoy a guided nature walk or some horse riding.

Dinner in Pangaea Restaurant.

Day 4: Amazon Adventure

After breakfast, enjoy a rainforest hike or a full day excursion including visits to local communities.

Day 5: Baños Tour and Waterfalls

After breakfast, continue to Baños, situated in a valley of waterfalls and hot springs.

Baños has become a mecca for international travelers seeking year-round temperate weather, a small town atmosphere, and a base for exploring the great Ecuadorian outdoors.

Visit the city centre and enjoy a tour to the waterfalls.

Explore the beautiful Agoyan, Heavens Door (Puertas del Cielo), Wedding Veil (Manto de la Novia), Devils Pan (Pailón del Diablo), Machay and much more in this area.
