Day 1: UK – Nicaragua
Fly from the UK to Managua.
On arrival at Managua International Airport you will be met and transferred to your hotel.
Overnight Managua.
Day 2: Managua – Masaya Volcano
After breakfast, transfer to Masaya Volcano.
Masaya volcano is one of Nicaragua's most active volcanoes. During this hike you follow a trail (the Comalito trail or the Coyote trail) that offers some jaw dropping views.
The trails are not very long or difficult but you'll gain an insight in the park´s flora and fauna.
Of course you´ll also get a chance to peek inside the smoking crater, inhabited, surprisingly, by green parakeets.
Overnight at Granda Isletas. Breakfast and dinner included.
Day 3: Granada & Isletas
Enjoy a Granada Half Day Tour today. A city tour by horse-drawn carriage will give you a great sense of the rich history and authenticity of Spanish-colonial Granada.
Take an afternoon boat trip through the Isletas of Granada. Explore Lake Cocibolca or Lake Nicaragua.
Depart from your hotel and head towards the harbour where you board a private motor boat to explore Las Isletas of Granada.
Situated at the foot of the impressive Mombacho Volcano, the area you visit consists of around 365 small volcanic islands which were formed when the Mombacho Volcano erupted about 20,000 years ago.
Before heading back, enjoy a complementary drink at a restaurant located on one of the islands where you can soak up the beautiful views or take a dip in the pool.

Day 4: Mombacho Volcano
Today you will be going to the top of the Mombacho Volcano (1,150 metres), completely covered with cloud forest.
The crater trail is a well-kept path that leads all around the crater through dense cloud forest.
It is 1.5 km long and leads you to a spectacular viewpoint with great views over Granada, Las Isletas, Laguna de Apoyo and Masaya Volcano.
After visiting the volcano, go for an adventurous and adrenaline-packed canopy tour.
See the nature from a bird's eye perspective; zip through the treetops as you go from platform to platform ranging in height from 10 to 100 feet above the canopy floor.
You will be accompanied by an expert instructor and provided with high quality equipment, including helmets, pulleys, and gloves.

Days 5 – 8: Guacalito de La Isla
Today you will be picked up and transferred to your hotel in Guacalito de La Isla.
The Tola region, commonly referred to as the´Nicaraguan Riviera', is an idyllic getaway with isolated beaches and dramatic coastlines.
Located off a long, bumpy dirt road just west of Rivas, the beaches of Tola have maintained quiet tranquillity in comparison to other Nicaraguan beach towns such as San Juan del Sur.
The string of lonely beaches that make up the almost 18 km of Pacific shoreline between Tola and El Astillero are quite diverse.
Places to visit in the area include Chacocente Natural Reserve, the small fishing village of Gigante, and Guasacate.
Other activities include horse riding, hiking, fishing, surfing, or just hanging out on the beach.
The Tola area is a perfect destination for those who wish to unwind and relax on a pristine beach with few interruptions.
There are very few areas left in the world with such immense natural beauty and little development.
Overnight Guacalito de La Isla. Breakfast included.
Day 9: Guacalito de La Isla – Managua – UK
Morning transfer to Managua International Airport for your overnight flight back to the UK.
Fly back to the UK.
Day 10: Arrive UK
