Belmond La Residence Angkor is a luxurious and tranquil oasis with just 55 rooms on the edge of central Siem Reap, within easy walking distance of the centre of town.
Belmond La Residence blends neo-colonial French style with modern touches, set amongst lush gardens and pools, creating a calm tropical ambience.
Constructed from local wood and furnished in Khmer style, Belmond La Residence Angkor offers a luxurious but understated atmosphere, the kind of place to linger and soak in the tropical ambience.
With a great swimming pool and private walled gardens, Belmond La Residence is a tranquil retreat, with more facilities than most boutique hotels but still small enough to remain a very personal place to stay.
Rooms all feature private balconies or terraces and are set around the pool, offering garden, pool or river views. Large bathrooms are a highlight.
What’s so Special?
The location on the edge of the town centre offers the best of both worlds – a peaceful retreat with facilities virtually on the doorstep. The centre of Siem Reap is just a short stroll away.
Rooms are spacious and offer a real sense of place with quality furnishings and Khmer designs. The bathtubs are quite special.
The salted fresh-water pool at Belmond La Residence is great, surrounded by lush, verdant foliage to provide a private, intimate space and decorated in handmade mosaics in beautiful shades of green, styled after the nearby Baray Lakes.
Kong Kea Spa at Belmond La Residence is a definite highlight and certainly one of the best spas in Cambodia.
Junior Suites
The spacious Junior Suites are either set by the Garden or overlooking the Pool in the hotel's most peaceful location (a small surcharge). Suites are exquisitely decorated in soft cottons and jewel-toned silks. A sitting area, complete with a sofa and coffee table invites time to relax. Additional dressing and storage areas add to the sense of space.
Each large, marble bathroom features a walk-in wet room with a bathtub and separate shower.
A private terrace with a table and chair provides the perfect place for a relaxing cocktail at the end of a full day of exploring.
Some Junior Suites can also be interconnected, making them an ideal choice for families or friends travelling together.
Junior Suites were renovated and refreshed at the end of 2016.

Dining Room
Stylishly decorated but supremely relaxed, The Dining Room serves both international and Khmer cuisine in a serene, traditional atmosphere.
International dishes with French flair and flavour, and traditional Khmer cuisine with a contemporary twist are on offer. Three nights a week, dinner is accompanied by traditional Khmer harp and flute music and dance performances.
Breakfast is served from 5 am, meaning guests can eat before heading out to see sunrise at the temples.
Barbeques are served on the terrace close to the pool from time to time.
The Lounge
The Martini Lounge is an indoor-outdoor space with views over the lush tropical gardens on one side and the Siem Reap River on the other – a fabulous place for pre or post dinner drinks.
The Pool Bar
The pool bar is an oasis amid the hotel gardens, ideal for a light lunch.
Facilities
