Kenya lies on the equator and enjoys great weather conditions all year round, warm days with plenty of sunshine and cool nights and mornings.
Kenya has a pleasant tropical climate and most parts of the territory share the same climatic conditions, however, there are large regional climatic variations due to Kenya's differing topographical dimensions.
Kenya’s daytime temperatures average between 20°C and 28°C. Night temperatures between July and August can drop down to 10°C. The coast is warmer, hot and humid all year round.
Rainfall is seasonal through the country. Low season means long rains from March to May, shoulder season (short rains) takes place between November and December. The high season (July - October and January and February) offers hot, dry weather ideal for wildlife watching.
