Lamanai Outpost Lodge is a secluded jungle lodge situated on the banks of a 28-mile long spring fed lagoon amid the remnants of a major Maya city.

The lodge is surrounded by an incredible variety of habitats right on your doorstep, meaning no need for day-trips to experience nature or adventure.

There are 20 cabanas at Lamanai Outpost, most of which feature a Queen-size and a Double bed.

What’s so Special?

Unlike many other lodges in the area, Lamanai Outpost is very much in a world of its own, and the nearest full-service lodge or hotel is over 70 miles away.

Whether you are exploring the Maya ruins or watching the sun rises over Crab-Catcher Lagoon, it’s almost guaranteed that it will be just you, your guide and a few friends that you have made at the Outpost.

Bear in mind

The experience is intimate here. There are only 20 cabanas and activities organised from the lodge normally depart with between 4 and 6 guests.

Although there are only two air con rooms (Cabanas 16 & 17), natural ventilation is excellent.

All Cabanas have high output ceiling fans and there is a prevailing breeze that comes in from the lagoon.
