Red Mangrove Isabela Lodge is located on a white-sand beach in Puerto Villamil.
This charming beachfront lodge offers 8 air-conditioned rooms with Wi-Fi and private bathroom.
The restaurant serves local and international dishes.
All-inclusive packages include three meals a day from either a fixed menu, buffet, or à la carte, depending on the number of guests. Soft drinks are included with your meal.

The sea lions love to soak up the sun, nurse their young, and cuddle with each other right on the deck.
On this tour, you’ll spend your time on Isabela Island.
After you hike Sierra Negra Volcano you’ll relax on the beach in front of the lodge.
The Tintoreras and Bay Tour will take you to see blue-footed boobies, Galapagos penguins and white-tipped reef sharks while hiking across a lava flow.
You’ll also visit the wetland in search of flamingos and seabirds.
Day 1: Santa Cruz – Isabela
Upon arrival at Baltra Airport, you will be met and transferred to the pier.
Navigation from Santa Cruz to Isabela Island. (Depending on the number of guest, the travel may be in public or Red Mangrove Transportation) the navigation takes about two hours.
In this navigation you may see marine life such as whales, dolphins, manta rays among others.
Check in at the hotel and free time to walk around the town of Puerto Villamil.

Day 2: Sierra Negra Volcano
In the morning departure to Sierra Negra Volcano. You’ll head through the humid highlands of Isabela, to the slopes of Sierra Negra Volcano in local truck taxis.
Sierra Negra is considered the second largest active crater in the world.
Depending on the season, the first part of the hike may be muddy, but seeing Chico Volcano will be worth the effort.
After walking along the caldera on an easy trail, you will relax a bit and have a snack at the Jaboncillo tree.
If you have the energy, you can continue to Chico Volcano, an otherworldly landscape with fumaroles and amazing lava formations.
From here, the landscape is more than spectacular. Total hike from the starting point to Chico Volcano is 8 km.
Return to the lodge for lunch. Free afternoon to enjoy the beautiful beach of Isabela.

Day 3: Tintoreras
In the morning, breakfast at the lodge. After breakfast, departure to Las Tintoreras and Bay Tour.
At the main dock, you will board a smaller boat to head out across the bay.
Along the way, you’ll watch for blue-footed boobies and Galapagos penguins sunbathing on the lava.
Once on the dock, you’ll take an intriguing walk through a jagged lava field, passing colonies of nesting marine iguanas and sea lions.
Towards the end of the trail, you’ll see a shallow canal full of resting white-tipped reef sharks.
The views from here are something you will take with you for the rest of your life!
The black, treacherous lava field, the emerald green sea, the green mangroves, and the cloud-capped volcanoes of Isabela, create an afternoon backdrop you are not likely to forget.
Once you finish the walk, you can snorkel in this warm, shallow bay surrounded by mangroves, for an opportunity to see white-tipped reef sharks, sea lions, and sea turtles.
Don’t worry; white-tipped reef sharks are not aggressive.
Back to the lodge for lunch.
In the afternoon: Hike along a beautiful boardwalk for about 45 minutes enjoying part of the Isabela wetlands, with high opportunities to see flamingos and other stunning seabirds.
Lunch at Red Mangrove restaurant and afternoon at leisure.

Day 4: Santa Cruz
Early departure in public boat from Isabela to Santa Cruz, for your flight to mainland.
