Indian Ocean Pearls

The Indian Ocean offers some of the most idyllic islands and best beaches in the world - so why not see more on one trip and make the most of your Indian Ocean holiday.

This twin-centre Indian Ocean holiday begins with a few nights in Mauritius which offers plenty of culture and nature to discover alongside some superb resorts and beaches.

It's a great place to rent a car for a day or two and discover more of the island.

From Mauritius fly directly to the Seychelles (2.5 hours flying time) and experience the Creole culture and some of the most beautiful beaches in the world.

The most popular islands are Mahe (the largest), Praslin (the second largest) and La Digue Island (the one with the granite boulder beaches).

Smaller private hotel islands such as North Island, Cerf Island, Fregate Island and Cousine Island to name but a few are within close proximity to these main three islands, together known as the Inner islands.

As with all of our holidays to the Indian Ocean, this one can be tailored to suit you, so just let us know your preferences.

Which Airlines do you use?

We work with all the major airlines flying to Mauritius and the Seychelles.

Typically for this Mauritius and Seychelles combination we will use British Airways for direct flights, with the direct Air Seychelles flight between Mauritius and the Seychelles.

Please note that flights to the Seychelles are currently suspended with British Airways however - during 2021.

The flying time for direct flights is around 10 hours to the Seychelles, 12 hours to Mauritius.

We also commonly use Emirates via Dubai, Qatar Airways via Doha and Etihad via Abu Dhabi. These all allow stopover options in the Arabian Gulf to create a multi-centre holiday.

Regional connections from across the UK are available.

Which Hotels do you use?

We're careful with our choice of resorts in Mauritius and The Seychelles, but we're guided by our customers also. If you have some preferred hotels, just let us know.

We specialise in boutique hotels and so we will often suggest some of our favourite smaller hotels where we think these will be suitable.

Do I need a visa for Mauritius and the Seychelles?

If you're travelling on British Passports, no visa is required for stays of up to a month in either destination (60 days in Mauritius).

Please double check before travel however as visa requirements are subject to change at any time.

How long have you been organising holidays to Mauritius and the Seychelles?

We've been organising tailor made holidays to Mauritius and the Seychelles since 2008.

We use a very reliable local partner in both destinations for our tours and transfers and to assist our clients.

We keep up to date with developments in Mauritius and the Seychelles with regular visits and through our local contacts.
