Day 1: UK - Porto
Fly from the UK to Porto where you will be met on arrival and transferred to your chosen hotel.

Day 2: Porto
Enjoy a free morning to enjoy the city at your own pace.
In the afternoon, your driver will pick you at your hotel for a private tour of the best viewpoints in Porto, away from the crowds, and accompanied by a passionate and knowledgeable local guide.
Afterwards, continue to Ribeira, to embark on a private cruise to enjoy the beautiful end of the day in this charming city.
The sunset in Porto is a unique experience, a sublime communion of the beautiful, charming city and the Douro River.
In this private evening excursions, you'll discover why the people from Porto are so proud of their world-famous Port Wine and why they love their city so much.

Day 3: Douro Valley
After breakfast, your driver will collect you from your hotel.
Departing Porto, your first stop will be Amarante, a beautiful ancient city, with the imposing Serra do Marão (mountain) rising above the city, and the beautiful River Tâmega, the longest tributary of the River Douro, whose journey beggins in Galicia and which flows to the heart of Amarante.
Next continue on slowly to Peso da Régua, enjoying the beautiful landscapes and the impressive viewpoints of the Douro Valley.
Visit a traditional family owned-Vineyard for a wine tasting and a traditional lunch.
Check-in at your hotel with the rest of the day free to enjoy at leisure.

Day 4: Douro Valley
After a relaxing breakfast and free morning, your driver-guide, will collect you at your hotel.
Today you will discover the charming Douro Valley, sailing on its majestic river.
A private cruise will take you to another beautiful Vineyard, for a delicious lunch paired with the wines of the property.
On this journey, the most adventurous can take a swim in the Douro, or simply enjoy the beautiful landscape mirrored in the Douro River's quiet waters while tasting the region ́s delicious wines.

Day 5: Douro Valley
Enjoy the morning at leisure.
After a delicious breakfast and free morning, your driver-guide will pick you up for a visit to the historic city of Lamego.
Roughly 12 km from the banks of the Douro, Lamego enjoyed a period of great prosperity in the eighteenth century when the city produced the so-called "fine wine" that later gave rise to the world-famous Port wine.
It is a very historic city, having been raised to a bishopric by the Visigoths, under the name of Lamecum, as early as the seventh century AD.
The city was captured by the Moors, reconquered by the Christians, and then returned once again into Muslim hands, until it was definitively reconquered in 1057 by Ferdinand I, the Great, king of Castile and León.
Surviving evidence of these mediaeval times are the castle on the hill overlooking the city, the Cathedral and the small church of Santa Maria de Almacave. Lamego is a great centre of culture, architecture and heritage in Portugal.
Lunch will be in a family-owned Vineyard, where you will be delighted with the delicious regional food.

Day 6: Dao Region - Lisbon
After relaxing days in the Douro Valley, continue discovering Portugal by travelling to the Dão Wine Region, one of the most beautiful regions in Portugal framed by the mountains of Caramulo and Montemuro, and Dão and Paiva Rivers.
Set off on relaxing off-road trails to meet the people of the region and to discover the charm of the Dão region, a land of mythical heroes, legends of undeniable importance in the history of Portugal.
Visit a Dão Vineyard, for a delicious wine tasting of these elegant and aristocratic wines.
With the aperitif already served, continue the journey to the vineyards, flanked by their impressive granite walls, with the Dão river always close by.
Lunch will be in Viseu, a beautiful city, with 2,500 years of history and an impressive historic centre - the beginning and endpoint for discovering Dão wines.
Continue your journey to Lisbon.

Day 7: Lisbon
Today enjoy a private cruise on an elegant sailing boat to enjoy beautiful Lisbon from the Tagus River.
Your driver-guide will pick you at the hotel for your visit around Lisbon to see some of the most magnificent sights and most iconic monuments before embarking on a private cruise.
On the cruise you'll sail along the Tagus River to get a unique perspective on the special beauty of the Portuguese capital, while enjoying Portuguese snacks along with a refreshing white or rosé wine.
If you're lucky, you may even spot dolphins in the Tagus.
If you prefer, you can instead embark on a culinary tour of Lisbon today, accompanied by your guide.

Day 8: Lisbon
After breakfast at your hotel, your private driver-guide will collect you for a day discovering some of the most beautiful locations in the Lisbon Wine Region!
Your first stop will be Sintra, a city of palaces, landscapes, culture, and art. Walk its narrow streets and discover the Celtic myths and Moorish legends in this magical setting.
Next continue to Colares, with vineyards protected by dunes, to discover the wines of this region. For many Portuguese, these wines are the height of elegance and good taste.
Travel along the coast to Azenhas do Mar, with its houses almost carved in the rock, peeking out over the Atlantic.
Lunch will be an experience to savour slowly, watching the tides.
The next stop will be Roca Cape, the westernmost extent of mainland Portugal, where the land ends and the sea begins. Here you'll find impressive views over the Atlantic, where the crashing waves add to the atmosphere.
With the sea as your guide, stop in Cascais, a fascinating cosmopolitan village and former summer escape of the Portuguese aristocracy.

Day 9: The Alentejo
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before taking a last look at the beautiful city of Lisbon before travelling south towards the Alentejo.
Your private driver-guide will pick you up at the hotel and your first stop will be one of the most emblematic wine producers of the Setúbal Wine Region for a visit along with delicious wine tasting.
Lunch will be in Setúbal, a city that has the genuine charm of the “people of the sea”.
The beautiful bay is an invitation to watch the sea and enjoy a variety of fresh fish and seafood.
After lunch, visit the Arrábida National Park, with its unique beauty - a sublime combination between the blue sea and the deep green earth.
Experience these impressive landscapes, with charming white and thin sandy beaches and transparent waters, where the mountains meet the sea.
Continue your journey towards the Alentejo, but first, there is time for another taste of the wines of this region and for its famous cheese.

Days 10: Evora
On this day start your leisurely discovery of the rich heritage, traditions, delicious gastronomy and fantastic landscape of the Alentejo region.
Your private driver-guide, will be waiting for you at the hotel, and your first visit will be to an important wine producer, located in the former refectory of the Jesuit retirement home. The Jesuits taught at the University of Évora in the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries. You'll enjoy a tour and wine tasting here.
Lunch will be in Évora, where you will find a delicious and intense local cuisine.
In the afternoon visit the city of Évora, in the heart of Alentejo, a UNESCO World Heritage city, filled with culture, history, and traditions.
Walk around Évora’s narrow streets, filled with whitewashed buildings, and visit The Roman Temple of Évora, one of the most important Roman monuments in Portugal.
It is located at the highest point of the city and was part of the Roman forum.
Continue to the Romanesque-Gothic cathedral, The Church of San Francisco whose architecture reveals the influence of Gothic, Mudejar, and Manueline styles.
Visit the Chapel of the Bones, built in the eighteenth century and entirely lined with human bones.

Day 11: Arraiolos
After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, your driver-guide will pick you up for another day discovering the charm of the Alentejo.
Today, visit a wine producer where you will find a modern wine producer inspired by Napa Valley. The Vineyard is located in the municipality of Arraiolos, where you will have the opportunity to visit one of the most traditional wine producing estates in the Alentejo region.
Start with wine tasting and a delicious and relaxing picnic, featuring the delicious gastronomy of the region, paired with the wines of the property.
Afterwards, visit the beautiful village of Arraiolos, a pleasant Alentejo town, whose foundation dates back to the second century BC.
The medieval castle was built in the 13th Century, although the town soon spread beyond its walls. The name of this town is well known internationally thanks to the famous Arraiolos carpets, which are produced here by the local craftsmen and women, having been referred to in documents as long ago as the sixteenth century.

Day 12: Reguengos de Mosaraz - Alqueva
Today, continue visiting Alentejo's beautiful landscapes and tasting its delicious wines.
Your driver-guide, will pick you at your hotel and your first stop will be Reguengos de Monsaraz, a historic village, one of the oldest in Portugal.
This medieval village, located on top of a hill, is one of the most beautiful villages in Portugal. Walking through the streets of Monsaraz is really like stepping back in time and offers great views over Alqueva Lake.
Next visit a world-renowned wine producer in the heart of Reguengos de Monsaraz, for wine tasting and a delicious lunch paired with the property wines.
Continue your jouney to Alqueva, the largest artificial lake in Europe, created by the River Guadiana. The landscape around the lake is exceptional.
Here, visit another wine producer in Vidigueira, bounded by Mount Mendro in the north, the Guadiana River in the east and by an immense southern plain as far as the eye can see.
Enjoy a delicious wine tasting, amid this beautiful landscape.

Day 13: Lisbon - UK
Your driver will transfer you to Lisbon Airport for your flight back to the UK.
