Tango Mar is a luxury boutique resort in Guanacaste on the northern Pacific side of Costa Rica.
It has a great beachfront setting and I recommend it for those looking for an intimate boutique hotel in Costa Rica with an emphasis on nature and a beautiful beach.
You'll likely be able to hear the sound of breaking waves and there's plenty of wildlife in the drier rainforest including plenty of birdlife, monkeys, monitor lizards and so on.
The atmosphere is low-key, quite romantic and mostly aimed at couples.
Bear in mind that there's not much around here - it's 15 minutes drive to the nearest town of note. It's also one of the best value for money boutique hotels in Costa Rica.
