The Atacama desert can be visited all year round, you just need to remind that in summer time (from December to late February) mornings are extremely hot and nights can get very cold.

Grape harvest in the Centrall Valleys takes place from late February to April.

Chile's high season runs from December to March. We strongly recommend to book your flights and accommodation in advance.
