In October, some rain can be expected in Bali and Lombok and much of Indonesia once every 3 or 4 days.
Sumbawa, Flores and Komodo Island have climates similar to Bali.
In Nusa Tenggara some rain can be expected almost everywhere in October although the rains generally come later in the month and the dry season can extend much longer than in more westerly islands. In general, the islands east of Lombok have a longer drier season than the rest of Indonesia, especially the closer the islands are to Australia.
October sees the start of the rainy season in Northern Sumatra.
In Southern Sulawesi the influence of the Southwest monsoon is normally starting to take effect and some rainy days can be expected in October. In the north, around Manado, this is still the dry season with very little rain at this time of year.
