January is an optimal time to visit Panamá and enjoy few days on the beach on Bocas del Toro or San Blas Archipelago. The highlands offer lower temperatures with chilly nights.

Panamá has a tropical climate all year round and temperatures vary little through the year. The Pacific Coast offers lower temperatures than on the Caribbean Coast.

Panamá City average temperatures range from 24ºC to 35ºC, the highlands feature lower and more stable temperatures, about 23ºC.

Climate on the beach is hot and humid and temperatures can get as high as 31ºC.

Dry season coincides with winter and Easter holidays (Christmas, New Year, Carnival and Holy Week) so prices are much higher during this period and we strongly recommend to book your flights and accommodation in advance.
