Cat Tien Jungle Lodge
About 2.5 hours drive from Saigon and on the edge of the Cat Tien National Park is Cat Tien Jungle Lodge which offers a good overnight base for a visit to the park.
Rooms are spacious and the lodge can accommodate up to 35 guests under normal circumstances.
The lodge has a swimming pool, restaurant and bar, sauna, cycle and kayak rental and gardens to relax in. Wi-Fi is available in public areas and in the rooms.
What's so Special?
The choice of accommodation at Cat Tien is limited. There are several much more basic lodges but Cat Tien Jungle Lodge in our opinion is the best currently for over all value.
Bear in Mind
Cat Tien attracts groups from Saigon and other cities in the south so it may be the case that there is a school group staying during your visit.
Day One: Saigon - Cat Tien
You will be collected from your hotel in Saigon around 7 am for the 2.5 hour trip to Cat Tien.
After arrival and check-in, depart on a trek into the rainforest to the Giant Tung tree, inclusive of a picnic lunch.
After lunch visit the Bear & Wildlife Rescue Centre.
Later in the afternoon enjoy a cycling excursion around the village or just relax by the pool.
A set dinner is served around 6 pm.
Overnight: Cat Tien Jungle Lodge
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Day Two: Cat Tien - Saigon
The morning is at leisure before your return to Saigon around midday.
