Clef Des Isles offers some of the best family self-catering in the Seychelles with just 4 spacious 2-bedroom duplexes with modern and beautiful interiors situated on a sandy beach with views of some of the islands of the Seychelles.
The self-catering Clef Des Isles is located on the main Seychelles’ Island of Mahe, facing Silhouette and North Island, right on 2km Beau Vallon beach, one of the best beaches in the Seychelles.
Clef des Isles’ self-catering two-bedroom chalets are ideal for families and several restaurants are within easy walking distance.
The location offers white sandy beaches, turquoise water, spectacular views and unforgettable sunsets.
What’s so Special?
The beach is a real highlight. We think Clef Des Isles is perfect for families, two couples or those looking to enjoy some diving in the Seychelles. Snorkelling is pretty good right off the beach.
There are several restaurants within easy walking distance of Clef Des Isles.
For simple, unpretentious, great value and a friendly, family owned and run place to stay, we think Clef Des Isles is a great option – particularly for those who love the beach.
Bear in Mind
Chalets are semi-detached in a single block overlooking the beach.

Each duplex at Clef Des Isles has two large bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen, comfortable living room and a private terrace leading down to the beach. Total floor space is 120 sq. m.
On the ground floor, fully equipped kitchens feature a breakfast bar, fridge/freezer, hob etc. The front of the chalet opens up to allow refreshing breezes and direct access to the beach.
The two bedrooms are both upstairs. The chalets are furnished predominantly with wood, including wooden floors and shutters. The Master Bedroom has a King-size bed, draped with mosquito netting and leads out onto a private bamboo balcony.
The chalets have air-conditioned bedrooms, and further fan cooling and the design and sea front location helps keep things cooled down.
Chalets are cleaned daily and bed linen and towels changed every 3 and 2 days respectively.

Dining
The chalets are self-catering but Clef des Isles now has a breakfast service (at an additional cost), where breakfast will be cooked in-chalet and served on the terrace.
A number of charming restaurants (Creole, Indian, Italian and International) are less than 10 minutes walking distance along the beach.
There is a grocery and fresh fruit-sellers about 2-minutes walk from the chalets. Fishermen also sell their daily catch on the beach.
Bbq’s are available on request.
Facilities:
Clef Des Isles is such a small self catering accommodation in the Seychelles that not many facilities as such are on site.
However the chalets are cleaned daily, car rental is available (and a good idea), dive trips can be organised and there is free use of snorkelling equipment.

Which Airlines do you use?
We work with all the major airlines flying to the Seychelles.
Typically for the Seychelles we will use British Airways for direct flights.
There are currently twice-weekly flights from Heathrow (Wednesdays and Saturdays) direct to Mahe using the Dreamliner.
The flying time for direct flights is around 10 hours, making the Seychelles a little shorter flying time than going to South East Asia.
We also commonly use Emirates via Dubai, Qatar Airways via Doha and Etihad via Abu Dhabi. These all allow stopover options in the Arabian Gulf to create a multi-centre holiday.
Regional connections from across the UK are available.
Which Hotels do you use?
We're careful with our choice of resorts in the Seychelles, but we're guided by our customers also. If you have some preferred hotels, just let us know.
We specialise in boutique hotels and so we will often suggest some of our favourite smaller hotels where we think these will be suitable.
There are some great self-catering options in the Seychelles including Clef des Isles.
Do I need a visa for the Seychelles?
If you're travelling on British Passports, no visa is required for stays of up to a month.
Please double check before travel however as visa requirements are subject to change at any time.

The driest time of year to visit the Seychelles is normally between June and September.
April to May and October to November can be the best value times of year to visit the Seychelles as these are shoulder-season periods.
