Desert Nights Camp, the only luxury desert camp in Oman, is an ideal base for an Arabian Desert adventure, with spectacular craggy mountains in the distance, endless dunes and crystalline wadis.
Only two hours by car from Muscat, Desert Nights Camp sprawls across 10-acres of silken sands, 11km within the vast isolation of the Omani desert in the famous red-gold dunes of the Wahiba Sands - a luxury boutique hotel in Oman’s desert.
The camp is reached by the Camp’s 4WD transfer, with a pick-up and drop-off service from Al Wasil.
Those on a self-drive holiday in Oman leave the rental car in a designated spot on the main highway, and are collected by the resort.
On arrival, relax in the Omani styled majlis (lounge area), and enjoy fresh Omani dates and ‘khawa’, traditional Arabic coffee.
Accommodation consists of 30 spacious and luxurious air-conditioned Bedouin style tents with en-suite bathrooms, bedroom and separate lounge area.
Desert Nights activities include camel rides at sunset, dune bashing and dune bike riding in the golden red sands of the Wahiba. Drift into magical nights and feast on traditional Omani fare in the flickering glow of the campfire.

Tents
Desert Nights Camp has Bedouin style tents set amongst the rolling sand dunes. Oman styled cosy sit-outs, a luxurious bed under a linen canopy suffused with golden light, tiled rooms, tasteful Arabian furnishings and an extravagant bathroom await.
Luxurious bathrooms have bathrobes, bathroom slippers, towels, shampoo, shower gel and soap. Frankincense and myrrh scents help to set the mood.
There are a total of 24 Double Tented Suites, two Family Tented Suites and four Double Tented Suites with Attached units.
All tents open out to spectacular views of the golden red Wahiba Sands of the desert.
Choose to dine in air-conditioned comfort or under starry skies as the gentle desert breeze whets your appetite. The adventurous can try a ‘Shuwa’ or a traditional Omani Lamb barbecue around a campfire. Shuwa is available on request at an additional charge.
Two Dunes Restaurant
Enclosed and open-dining options are available at the multi-cuisine ‘Two Dunes’ Restaurant. With a superb service to match the delectable cuisine and an atmosphere of relaxed refinement, Two Dunes is tastefully furnished with traditional Omani wooden furniture.
The Oasis Bar
The Oasis bar offers a wide range of wines, exotic cocktails, juices, unique spirits and aperitifs to help you unwind in a relaxed Omani-style setting.
