Dating from the late 17th century, Hacienda Zuleta is located in the north of Ecuador, 2,800 metres above the sea level, and within easy reach of the famous market town of Otavalo.

Zuleta is a colonial working farm of 2,000 hectares, owned by a former president of Ecuador.

The hacienda has 14 beautifully decorated bedrooms, all with their own fireplace, cosy living and reading rooms.

Delicious home Ecuadorian cuisine is on offer, prepared with organic vegetables and dairy products produced on the Hacienda.

There are plenty of activities on offer from Hacienda Zuleta including horse riding, mountain biking and visits to the Condor Andes rehabilitation program.

Miles of meandering roads through lush pastureland, pine trees and a eucalyptus forest make the Zuleta Valley a paradise for outdoor activities.

Hacienda Zuleta has twenty Zuleteño bred horses, mountain bikes and a horse drawn carriage on which to explore the hacienda grounds and local area.
