La Lancha is a boutique hotel tucked into the rainforest high above the shore of Lago Petén Itzá.
La Lancha offers Rainforest Casitas, Lake View Suites and Rainforest Junior Suites.
Each one of them has been carefully decorated with locally made arts and crafts. The deck area comes with a hammock for a pleasant nap.
The charming Main Lodge is set high in the hillside above Lago Petén Itzá.
This split-level building houses the reception area, gift shop, patio, restaurant, and bar all under its towering thatch roof.
The open plan design offers beautiful panoramic views of the lake and jungle canopy below.
The lodge’s patio features a small library decorated with native art furnishings and is a popular place for guests to access the complimentary Wi-Fi or relax with a book in La Lancha’s plush armchairs.
The neighbouring forest lends itself to a wide range of activities and adventure options including zip line, horseback riding, or jungle trail, while Lago Petén Itzá can be enjoyed by canoe, kayak, or boat.
