Located on Mombo Island, adjoining the northern tip of Chief’s Island within the Moremi Game Reserve, Little Mombo is the sister camp to Mombo Camp and is one of Botswana’s most famous camps.
The camp is certainly one of the most luxurious safari camps in Africa and offers privacy, seclusion and unparalleled game viewing experiences.
There are just three spacious tented suites at Little Mombo, each one luxuriously furnished and featuring a large bedroom and a stylish living room. The bathrooms at Little Mombo are great, with twin showers (one outdoor) and stylish twin vanities.
A large viewing deck stretches the length of the chalet and has sun loungers and a tsala for the hot afternoons.
Mombo Concession has both black and white rhino - the only corner of Botswana where you can see the Big 5 including black and white rhino in the same area.
What’s so Special?
Little Mombo offers peace and seclusion - the three tented guest rooms are some distance away from the rest of the camp.
Little Mombo is a fantastic camp to hire for a small group of people and offers morning and evening game drives in open 4x4 vehicles with stops for spectacular sundowners.
Game can wander through the camp as boardwalks are set 2 metres above the ground.
Bear in Mind
There are no night game drives, no mokoro and no walking safaris at Mombo Camp.
