Kapi Kapi Cultural Tour
The Kapi Kapi cultural tour begins with a welcome from a local indigenous guide and a cocktail of Chicha, an indigenous traditional drink of fermented corn.
Learn about pre-Columbian Costa Rica and indigenous local cultures on a visit to "Alma Ata" Archaeological Park, Sarapiquis Rainforest Lodge's on-site heritage attraction.
Afterwards enjoy a tour around the Ethno-botanical garden, and discover the richness of the rainforest and the knowledge of herbs that the indigenous people have.
The garden contains a collection of pre-Columbian Costa Rica plants.
The pre-Columbian civilization of Central America had a well-developed botanical science, which in parallel with its European counterpart, was medicinally and economically focused.
Learn about the uses of different plant species - on this short but unforgettable journey into the fascinating world of Native Plants.
