Seven Terraces is the third Penang boutique hotel from the stable of Christopher Ong and Karl Steinberg, offering just 18 suites in a grand row of seven 19th century Anglo-Chinese terrace houses on one of the most intact heritage streets in Penang.
Seven Terraces is a romantic, beautiful and timeless retreat, perfectly positioned in the centre of World Heritage Georgetown, right next door to the 1810 Goddess of Mercy Temple and just a few minutes walk from all the major sights of Penang.
Suites at Seven Terraces surround a frangipani filled Chinese granite courtyard and are all air conditioned with beautiful open plan bathrooms, four poster carved Chinese beds in mezzanine bedrooms and exquisite gilded Peranakan antique furniture and artworks in living rooms below.
Some suites have their own outdoor decks with views of the Georgian Church and Seven Terraces also offers two 2-bedroom Grand Apartments, the ideal luxury family accommodation in Penang.

Kebaya
Christopher Ong has worked with the hotel’s chefs to create a menu of classic Indo and Straits Chinese Nyonya dishes. They have refined these using French cooking techniques and innovative produce to deliver surprising new twists on this already fascinating cuisine.
The effect is simple, delicious full of flavour and dazzling.
A four-course degustation menu of entrée, main course, vegetables and dessert is served in Chinese style to allow guests to share the dishes.
Baba Bar
Baba Bar is the hotel’s public lounge, serving a collection of specially selected wines and beers as well as cocktails and a full bar of spirits and liquors.
