Day 1: Fly UK to Muscat
Overnight flight UK to Muscat.
Day 2: Muscat
Transfer to hotel. Rest of the day at leisure to relax or explore Muscat independently.
Overnight Muscat.
Day 3: Muscat
After breakfast embark on a coastal cruise to see dolphins, enjoy some snorkelling and discover the coastline near Muscat. Enjoy a picnic lunch before returning to Muscat.
Enjoy the afternoon at leisure or add on a short tour of Muscat.

Day 4: Coastal Road to Sur
Travel south from Muscat along the scenic coastal road to Sur. Visit the spectacular Bimah Sinkhole, beautiful Wadi Shaab and the lush greenery of Wadi Tiwi.
Continue through the mountains to Ras Al Junaiyz. See turtles nesting on the beach at night.
Overnight Ras al Hadd.
Day 5: Wadi Bani Khalid - Wahiba Sands – Nizwa
From Ras al Hadd explore the pretty mountain villages in Wadi Bani Khalid and the blue-green waters ideal for swimming.
Head to the desert and explore the vast sand dunes of the Wahiba Sands before continuing on to Nizwa.
Overnight Nizwa.
Day 6: Nizwa – Bahla – Jabrin – Birkat al Mauz
Today explore Nizwa and two of the best forts in Oman, at Bahla and Jabrin. Also visit the pretty village of Birkat al Mauz inn the Jebel Akhdar foothills and walk through its oasis and date plantations.
Continue into the mountains for over night at The View.

Day 7: Jebel Akhdar – Village hiking
Hike along narrow trails for about 3 hours across a mountain plateau above Wadi Ghul to old Ghul village with views over the valley below.
In old Ghul you can enjoy your lunch break under shady palm trees near the old mosque. Explore old Ghul village before driving into Wadi Nakhr, the deepest canyon in Oman.
Drive to Al Hamra and learn about the aflaj irrigation system, visit the old town and the museum before returning to The View.
Overnight The View, Jebel Akhdar.
Day 8: Canyon Cycling
Enjoy a Full Day cycling by mountain bike through one of Oman’s most spectacular canyons.
Also visit a mineral water factory, an ostrich farm and the Al Hoota show cave.
The distance covered is about 60 km and basic mountain biking skills are required as there are some short but steep ascents and descents on loose gravel paths.
Overnight The View, Jebel Akhdar.
Day 9: Muscat - UK
Transfer back to the airport for your return flight back to the UK.
Fly back to the UK.
