Classic Israel & Jordan
Classic Israel & Jordan - 13 nights
Many thanks for your interest regarding a holiday to Israel & Jordan.
This journey through Israel & Jordan offers a great insight into the history, culture and landscapes of this fascinating part of the world, where so much history is crammed into such a small space.
You'll begin with 4 nights in Nazareth, which you'll have as a base for visiting nearby sights including Megido, Mount Tabor, Tiberias, the Sea of Galilee, Capernaum, Cana, Haifa, Acre and Caesarea.
From here, head across to Jordan and visit roman Jerash, the capital city Amman and the ancient Nabatean city of Petra. You'll have a night in the desert in spectacular Wadi Rum.
From Wadi Rum you'll head back into Israel, pausing for a night by the sea in Eilat.
On the way to Jerusalem, step back in time to the Roman Empire with a visit to Masada, visit the oasis of Ein Gedi and float in the Dead Sea.
Jerusalem is one of the world's great travel destinations. Visit the Old City, the Garden of Olives, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, the Garden of Gethsemane and Mount Zion. Wandering the streets of the Old City is like stepping back in time. You'll also have a great insight into more recent history in the city.
