This Borneo journey is a combination of 8 nights of exploration in Borneo, staying in the two best lodges in Borneo, followed by a few days relaxing at the beautiful Gaya Island Resort.

You'll begin with 2 nights in Kota Kinabalu including a day trip to the Kinabalu National Park.

From Kota Kinabalu, you'll fly to Sandakan for a visit to the Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre and Sun Bear Sanctuary included.

From here you'll head straight off to the Kinabatangan River for two days of wildlife viewing in this magical part of Borneo. You'll head out in the mornings and evenings by electric boat in seach of wildlife along the riverbanks. You'll be staying at Sukau Rainforest Lodge, which is the best lodge in the Kinabatangan River area.

From Sukau, you'll transfer overland to the Tabin Wildlife Reserve for 2 nights and 2 full days to discover the area around the Tabin Wildlife Resort.

From Tabin, head to the Danum Valley for 2 nights at the award-winning Borneo Rainforest Lodge, the premier wildlife lodge in South East Asia. You have daily experiences included.

The second part of your Borneo adventure will be in the the Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park, just off the coast of Kota Kinabalu. This sizable Malaysian island has been protected as a reserve since the early 1920's.

Gaya Island Resort is a luxury resort offering some of the best accommodation in Borneo and is the ideal complement to a wildlife tour of Borneo.
