• Flights: International flights from the UK to Kuala Lumpur with British Airways (outbound and return), plus a domestic connecting flight between Kuala Terengganu and Kuala Lumpur with Malaysia Airlines, including all airline taxes and checked baggage allowance.
• Accommodation: 13 nights across Kuala Lumpur, Taman Negara National Park and Tanjong Jara Resort, with daily breakfast at Kuala Lumpur and Tanjong Jara Resort, and full board (breakfast, lunch and dinner) throughout your stay at Taman Negara.
• Transport: Airport transfer by private car in Kuala Lumpur, the road transfer to Jerantut and onward shared minivan to Taman Negara, the river shuttle from Taman Negara to Kuala Tembeling with private car on to Tanjong Jara Resort, and the departure transfer by private car to the airport.
• Sightseeing: Full-day guided tour of Kuala Lumpur, taking in the Petronas Towers, Batu Caves, Royal Selangor Pewter Factory and the National Mosque, and a full-day guided tour of UNESCO-listed Malacca, both with a private car and English-speaking guide.
• Experiences: At Taman Negara, a guided cave visit at Jerantut, a night jungle walk and visit to Tahan Hide, a jungle trek to the Canopy Walkway and Teresek Hill, a long-tail boat 'rapid shooting' ride, a visit to an Orang Asli village, a trek to Tabing Hide, and a boat trip to the Lata Berkoh waterfall.

When is the best time to visit Malaysia?

We've put together a month by month climate guide for travel to Malaysia. The weather varies considerably across the peninsula - so whilst the weather is perfect from November to March on the West Coast, the East Coast will be experiencing rainy conditions.

What board basis should I choose in Malaysia?

There are virtually no All Inclusive hotels in Malaysia. Most hotels include breakfast in their rates.

Generally, with the exception of a few resorts (which we can let you know about), there are plenty of dining options outside the hotels and one of the joys of travel in Malaysia is discovering the 'hawker' stalls and small local restaurants.
