November marks the arrival of the dry season in Cambodia, with infrequent rain and long periods of cloudless sunny skies. November may see some rain early in the month but typically as November progresses any signs of rain will gradually disappear.
November is the start of high season for Cambodian hotels and prices usually jump up on the first of the month. The Temples at Angkor become busier with tour groups and some of the more popular boutique hotels in Cambodia can become booked well in advance for the high season months.
Of course, the high season for touring Cambodia coincides with the English winter, making Cambodia a great option for those looking to get away in the colder months.
The beach resorts on Cambodia’s southern coast are at their best in the 5 or 6 months from November, with sunny skies and calms seas.
