November marks the arrival of the North East monsoon, brining drier and more settled conditions across the islands.

November sees the beginning of the high season in the Maldives and most islands in the Maldives will be under clear skies with little or no rain as the calendar year draws to an end.

Temperatures can be expected to be in the high twenties or early thirties with long hours of sunshine and the sea and sand resplendent under November skies.

There can still be some ocean breezes at this time of year and an afternoon shower is certainly not unknown in November.
