The Rapa Nui National Park occupies almost half of the island and was declared a heritage site to protect the great natural landscape and cultural richness.

There are routes that cannot be missed, such as the ascent of the Rano Raraku Volcano, where the moai were sculpted.

These mysterious sculptures made of stone are known throughout the world. There are over 600 pieces distributed throughout the island and most of them were sculpted on the quarries of the Rano Raraku Volcano.
