Rooms at the Anggun feature wooden floors, four-poster beds and elegant handmade furniture.

Classic Rooms

There are just 8 Classic Rooms, featuring a queen-sized teak bed, wooden flooring and delightful views of the four-storey courtyard atrium bathed in natural light during the day and atmospherically lit with period lanterns by night. Three rooms face the rear of the hotel offering a peaceful location.

Deluxe Rooms

The 4 Deluxe Rooms feature queen-sized teak beds and wooden flooring. These spacious rooms offer courtyard atrium views.

One of the Deluxe Rooms on the ground floor is a disabled-friendly room, with an intelligent wheelchair, lower washbasin & mirror and lower bath seating-bench.

Family Rooms

There are 2 Family Rooms, both offering one queen-sized and one single teak bed.

These spacious rooms feature wooden floors and floor-to-ceiling kampong style windows by the indoor balcony providing unhindered views of Tengkat Tong Shin Street below, lined with trees over 80 years old.

Anggun Suite

Each of the 3 Anggun Suites offers a queen-sized four-poster teak bed, wooden floors, floor to ceiling windows and an outdoor private balcony with views of Tengkat Tong Shin Street.

Courtyard Suite (Honeymoon Suite)

The Courtyard Suite has a queen-sized four-poster teak bed, wooden flooring, an Ofuro natural stone bathtub and a rain shower bath. It looks over the four-storey courtyard atrium.

Anggun Boutique Hotel offers a great alternative to the larger more business-like and functional hotels common in Kuala Lumpur.

Located in a busy local area of Kuala Lumpur city centre, Anggun Boutique Hotel is just a short stroll from great local restaurants and major city sights.

The owners have woven their love of Malay history and culture with modern and chic architecture in the conception and design of the Anggun.

Simple, elegant touches and a sense of style are the Anggun Boutique Hotel's hallmarks.

Anggun is a good option for families as they have family rooms accommodating 2 adults and 2 children.

What’s so Special?

Anggun is located in two 1920’s colonial houses, forming a former family home of successful Chinese immigrants.

The houses still functioned as the extended family home until 1974 and features and internal courtyard, typical of a classic Malaysian courtyard house of this period.

Bear in Mind

There are some comments now and again regarding noise. There are quieter rooms in the hotel, which can be requested, but bear in mind that staying at Anggun isn’t the same as being in a triple glazed room 20-stories high.

Bubu Rooftop Resto-lounge

The Anggun has a nice rooftop restaurant where they serve a great Rendang curry.

Bubu Rooftop Resto-lounge is the only rooftop garden restaurant in KL and is a little bit of an oasis in the city.

With overhanging fish-trap inspired lamps surrounded by large green leafy fronds and other potted tropical plants, Bubu Rooftop's setting is informal and comfortable.
