Situated between royal palaces in central Seoul, this traditional Korean house (known as a Hanok) is located in the villa grounds of a former South Korean President.
All rooms at Chiwoonjung feature futon beds, classical Korean furniture and traditional floor heating known as Ondol.
The hanok also features a traditional Korean sauna known as a Jjimbjilbang, for guests use.
Rooms at Chiwoonjung offer very modern facilities to offset the traditional style, so expect Wi-Fi and flat screen TV's.
Bathrooms are Western style and feature beautiful wooden baths.
