Daluyon Beach & Mountain Resort is a boutique resort set on Palawan’s Sabang Beach, within walking distance of boat trips to Puerto Princesa's famous Underground River National Park, one of the Unesco World Heritage sites in the Philippines.
Daluyon Beach Resort has just 16 contemporary-Asian beachfront rooms and will really suit those looking for a homely, tranquil escape in a beautiful setting. Choose from Superior and Deluxe Cabanas and Suites. All rooms offer views of Sabang Beach.
Daluyon Beach is mostly about relaxation (enjoy the chaise-lounges and hammocks) and there’s not a great deal going on, although the Underground River tours, Zipline and mangrove forest are within walking distance.
Daluyon Beach Resort has a small swimming pool and a little spa.
What’s so Special?
Daluyon Beach Resort is a charming boutique eco-resort in a quiet location, with a lovely soft white sand beach and gorgeous sunsets.
All rooms have an ocean view.
The dining gets good feedback and Pawikan Restaurant attracts many guests from nearby resorts.
Bear in mind
Water is solar heated because of the location. Fine when the sun has been shining but on overcast day, hot water can be an issue.
The road to the resort is currently a little bit bumpy – it’s a couple of hours’ journey. When we visited in 2013 the road was being upgraded.
Daluyon isn’t luxury – the rooms are cute and comfortable but service can be on the slow side, but then what’s the rush?
Cabanas & Suites
Choose from Superior and Deluxe Cabanas and Suites. All rooms offer views of Sabang Beach. Rooms are set in two-storey freestanding pavilions and the top floor rooms are especially popular.
Junior Suites feature two bedrooms and one separate living room with a sleeper sofa, making these ideal for families. There are two large private balconies.

Dining
Asian-Global inspired cuisine is served with a Palawan twist at Pawikan Restaurant.
The dining receives very good feedback. The coffee isn’t very good.
