With over 7,000 islands, the Philippines has no shortage of great beaches.

Probably the best beach in the Philippines, and its most famous is White Beach on Boracay, a long stretch of perfect talcum powder fine white sand, an ideal location for those looking for a relatively lively Philippines beach destination with restaurants, bars and activities at hand.

Much quieter and low-key is Panglao Island in Bohol which is home to Amorita, one of our favourite boutique hotels in the Philippines.

Palawan is one of the most beautiful islands in Asia and the beaches at Honda Bay (Dos Palmas Resort) and Daluyon Beach are amongst the best in the Philippines.

Also highly recommended for it's beautiful setting amongst the limestone cliff seascape are the El Nido Resorts in the north of Palawan. El Nido Pangulasian Island has a lovely stretch of private beach, ideal for a luxury Philippines hideaway holiday.
