Hotel Des Arts
Hotel Des Arts
Hotel Des Arts, Saigon is part of the luxurious Sofitel MGallery Collection and offers a distinctive, sensuous hotel experience with authentic 1930's art and decor, scented hallways and fine dining.
Located on the edge Saigon's central Disctrict One, the Hotel Des Arts is close enough to walk to many of Saigon's central attractions.
Rooms are a very spacious mix of contemporary and period design and feature very large picture windows which mean great views over the city, especially from the higher floors.
The rooftop bar and swimming pool are bonuses for day time cooling and night time viewing and the hotel has a great range of luxury dining options.
Saigon has some excellent spas and Hotel Des Arts is no exception.
What's so Special?
Hotel Des Arts is one of our favourite luxury boutique hotels in Vietnam. Entering the lobby feels like being welcomed into the home of a rich and tasteful relative.
The style is romantic 1930's Indochine but is complimented superbly by modern features. The hotel feels akin to an art museum and indeed the lobby lounge often doubles as a local gallery.
We love the scent used throughout the hotel and the feminine quality to the design which is quite deliberate and gives the hotel a softness to the colonial era styling.
Bear in Mind
The hotel is rather inconspicuous, set in a high rise building which could easily be misconstrued for another office building but once through the door, all misconceptions are dispelled.

Touring Vietnam
A stay at the Hotel des Arts Saigon can be incorporated into one of our tailor made tours of Vietnam or Indochina.
We have a selection of suggested Vietnam tours which include Saigon.
A stay in Saigon is essential to get a true feel for Vietnam since it's Vietnam's most dynamic, vibrant and most populated city.
A stay of 2 nights is the minumum you should consider for Saigon as there is plenty to see and do and there are a couple of great side trips to consider - namely the Cu Chi Tunnels and the Mekong Delta.
Saigon is often included at the start or the end of a tour of Vietnam or Indochina since many flights arrive and depart from here.
It's also possible to travel overland (or by water) between here and Cambodia.
