The Kanha Earth Lodge is set amongst 16 acres of deep jungle, away from the tourist hub of Kanha yet close enough for an easy access to the Khatia and Kisli park gates and close to a small tribal hamlet.

Kanha has just 12 open-fronted, eco-designed luxury bungalows with en-suite bathrooms and large verandas.

All cottages are inspired by traditional Gond architecture and use locally available materials such as mud plaster, stone, terracotta tiles, rough-hewn timber beams and furniture made from waste and recycled wood, which helps them to blend in seamlessly with their surroundings.

All bedrooms are air-conditioned and have dressing rooms, writing table and chair and large verandas with forest views. 24-hour power packs are also included.

The lodge has an infinity swimming pool, nature library and an eco-shop.

A multi-cuisine dining hall serves Indian and Continental cuisine cooked with locally sourced, fresh produce from neighbouring villages.

An experienced team of naturalists provide a holistic wildlife experience with a special focus on birding.
