End of the Americas (3 days/2 nights)
This programme includes a visit to the Miniature Forests of Cape Horn a so-called “Tourism with Hand Lens” an educational activity sponsored by Omora Foundation.
Sailing to Wulaia Bay is also incuded. This activitiy is very appealing not only because of its wonderful landscapes but also because represents one of the most important historical moments of modern science: Young Darwin meets with the local communities, the “cultural end of human evolution” according to his own words.
Wulaia is of extraordinary beauty, considered the historical capital city of Tierra del Fuego.If you are lucky enough you will have the chance to see a wide number of pelagic birds, seal colonies, dolphins and penguins.
The programme ends with a visit to Puerto Willliams.
Get to know the Cape Horn (4 days/3 nights)
This programme includes an overflight to Cape Horn (1 to 1h 15 minutes flight).
You will visit the the OMORA Etno-Botanical Park to discover the wonders of the Miniature Forests of Cape Horn a so-called “Tourism with Hand Lens” an educational activity sponsored by Omora Foundation.
Sailing to Wulaia Bay is incuded. Trekking Dientes de Navarino Circuit (6 days/5 nights)
Get into Dientes de Navarino massif, 42 km distance approx, 5-hour average walk a day, and a 800 mts máximum high from east to west.
Rural paths, shrub forests, bogs, valleys and slopes, lakes, riveres, etc.
From the summit to the northern parto of the island you will see the imponent Beagle Channel, the villages of Puerto Williams and Ushuaia.
Southern end you will enjoy Nassau bay, Wollaston islands and the mythical Cape Horn.
