Mahua Kothi is a boutique lodge in Bandhavgarh National Park offering just 12 suites or Kutiyas (village huts) designed in the vernacular style of Madhya Pradesh – a style known as MP chic.

The lodge sprawls across 40 acres and is located 20 minutes from the park entrance.

The lodge is built around a renovated former homestead, with newly constructed accommodation surrounding it.

Each air-con suite has a private courtyard with shaded seating and traditional mud floors as well as roll-down mats to keep out the early morning sun. Interiors include wooden shutters, tapered mud coloured walls in lime and earth washes, open rafters with roughly hewn wooden beams, and handmade pottery roof tiles.

En-suite bathrooms feature twin vanities, indoor showers, bath and separate toilet.
