Mombo Camp is an iconic and very luxurious tented camp located in the heart of the Moremi Game Reserve in Botswana.
Set on a private island, Mombo Camp overlooks floodplains that literally teem with wildlife.
The camp is built under shady trees and the accommodation consists of just nine spacious and luxurious tents raised up to two metres off the ground and offering breathtaking views over the plains.
The tents themselves have en-suite bathrooms and an outdoor shower and the sala, lounge and long veranda all overlook the plains.
Activities at Mombo Camp mainly comprise of morning and evening game drives in open 4x4 vehicles.
There are no night game drives, no mokoro and no walking safaris at Mombo Camp.
Mombo Concession has both black and white rhino - the only corner of Botswana where you can see the Big 5 including black and white rhino in the same area.

The area in and around Mombo Camp boasts enormous concentrations of plains game and large predators, lions in particular, providing what is arguably the best big game viewing in Botswana.
When Mombo Camp was built, the level of luxury camps in Botswana was lifted to a completely new level.
The quality of game viewing at Mombo is exceptional - this is wild Botswana at it's best.
Bear in Mind
There is no denying that Mombo is expensive, but the cost is matched by the quality.
Book early for Mombo as it gets booked up well in advance during high season (June - October) and finding space can be tricky.
