Samaya Ubud is an absolute delight and a perfect choice for couples looking for privacy, luxury and romance in Bali.
The things I enjoyed most about staying here were the location by the Ayung River (great for a candle-lit dinner right by the river), the luxury of the villas (they're completely private with large pools) and the breakfast setting with views over the rice paddies and hills.
We usually sell Samaya Ubud in combination with its equally fabulous elder sibling, the Samaya Seminyak - it's a match made in heaven and a great way to Bali for a honeymoon or luxurious twin-centre holiday.
We've been sending people to the Samaya Seminyak since our business began in 2008 and we were delighted when Samaya Ubud opened a few years later.
