By June in Oman, the summer has arrived and temperatures average in the early to mid 30’s in Muscat. Rainfall levels are low.

In the mountains the temperatures are a little lower and temperatures at night can be feel very cold once the sun has set. The desert also can be very cold at night, so warm clothing is essential.

In the Dhofar region in the far south of Oman the Southwest monsoon brings rainfall to this region.
