The Banyan Tree is something of a long time favourite of ours. Although it's a little bit larger than many of the other hotels in Bangkok we feature, it maintains a 'boutique' feel and maintains very high standards - it's one for those who love a bit of traditional luxury.

The generously sized 141 Horizon Rooms (48 sq. m) are located on the 33rd to 42th and 50th-58th floors with choice of view between city north and river south.

Saffron
On the 59th floor, Banyan Trees’ signature restaurant offers contemporary Thai Cuisine and formal dining with a unique view of the city. The prawn wrapped in crispy noodles and the Massaman Curry are particularly recommended. The adjoining Latitude Lounge and Bar is the ideal place for after dinner drinks.
Bai Yun
On the 60th floor serving Nouvelle Chinese Cuisine. Forner best Chinese Restaurant in Bangkok award winner.
Taihei
An exquisite feast for the senses among the clouds, Taihei is located on the 53rd and 54th floors and has an extensive sake and shochu selection.
Taihei comes with private tatami and teppanyaki, and features signatures including grilled snowfish with miso sauce, a decadent spread of incredibly fresh sashimi and excellent tonkatsu.
Vertigo
Banyan Tree’s most well-known restaurant offers stunning views from its roof top location on the 61st floor.
Stylish and sophisticated, this is one of the top places in the city to enjoy a spectacular night out. Vertigo specializes in seafood.
The associated bar is known as Moon Bar.
Vertigo Too
Vertigo TOO offers an exceptional bar experience on the 60th floor. The arched ceiling of this indoor bar is dotted with lights, mimicking a starry night.
