Garonga Safari Camp
To the west of Kruger National Park and an hour from Hoedspruit Airport, Garonga Safari Camp is a secluded safari camp set in the private Makalali Conservancy.
Garonga Safari Camp offers a relaxing safari experience with all the comforts of home.
A peaceful sanctuary, Garonga offers two different types of accommodation. The Safari camp is an exclusive 12-bed camp with tented rooms that overlook a dry riverbed, each with a wooden deck.
Garonga Safari Camp reflects the surroundings of the bush's textured earthy colours and clean lines have been incorporated with fine linen to ensure pure comfort, a tempting place to lie and meditate for hours.
The luxury tents are situated overlooking a dry riverbed - each with a wooden deck complete with hammock that commands spectacular views.
Little Garonga on the other hand has three en-suite, thatched and air-conditioned suites, all situated around centralized indoor/outdoor lounges and a swimming pool.

The wide range of activities on offer at Garonga includes excellent game drives with trackers, wilderness walks and bush picnics. We love the famous candle-lit bush baths or why not try a sleep out in the tree house for a true taste of the wilderness.

Tents
The accommodation at Garonga Safari Camp reflects the surrounding bush and offers a real "home away from home" experience, where service is professional and friendly, yet unobtrusive.
Each of the six en-suite luxury units is sculpted out of rough-plastered walls and overarching canvas tents.
The tents are situated overlooking a dry riverbed, and have a wooden deck complete with hammock that commands spectacular views.
The rooms are light, airy and spacious with large, draped beds and indoor/outdoor showers.
Water Lodge
Water Lodge, set amongst dense bushveld overlooking Lake Cariega, offers 12 stone walled, thatched chalets leading off into meandering timber footpaths.
All Chalets open onto private game viewing decks boasting plunge pools and outdoor showers.
The indulgent bathrooms offer free-standing tubs and double basins, and each room is fitted with an earthenware fireplace.
