Located in the heritage area of Yangon along Strand Road and opposite the new cruise terminal, the Rosweood has involved the complete restoration and redevelopment of a 1927 heritage building.

The result is an immaculate luxury hotel in Yangon which reflects the splendour and prestige of its original construction.

The 206 One and Two Bedrooms at the Rosewood Yangon are palatial with high ceilings and crafted decor.

Public spaces at the Rosewood are truly magnificent and the hotel features 5 distinct dining venues.

A bar and cigar lounge add a touch of timeless elegance and the rooftop pool offers a great spot to cool down after touring Yangon.

The hotel features a Sense Spa and Fitness Centre.

It's been a long time coming. The renovation work of the building has been a 6 year meticulous project.

The rooms should be the best in Yangon and the location and heritage style make the Kempinski Yangon a welcome new addition to the small stock of true luxury hotels in Myanmar.

The hotel was due to open as a Kempinski in 2018 but the management switched to Rosewood, delaying the opening until 2019.
